Towards a Degrowth Society

The COVID-19 pandemic urges to develop a new economy – one that can do without incessant growth, one that generates human wellbeing without the destruction of our ecosystems. This video-debate will discuss what a future without economic growth would look like. Four scholars from the Dutch degrowth network ( will share their knowledge and answer questions on the pathway to a society that is emancipated from market competition and the exploitation of both people and resources.
