“What do we want? Climate Justice! When do we want it? Now!” Bij elke XR-actie worden deze zinnen luidkeels door alle rebellen geroepen. Afgelopen jaar stelde de beweging een Eis 0 op: klimaatrechtvaardigheid, als fundament onder de andere eisen. Maar wat betekent klimaatrechtvaardigheid? En wat betekent het voor jou? Hoe herken je klimaatonrecht in het Globale Zuiden, en hoe in Nederland en Europa? In deze workshop gaan we aan de hand van informatiekaarten aan de slag met dit thema. We proberen samen de patronen van klimaatonrecht te doorgronden, en te begrijpen waar deze vandaan komen.

Demand Zero Workshop

“What do we want? Climate Justice! When do we want it? Now!” At every XR-action these words are shouted loudly by all rebels. Last year the movement set up Demand Zero: climate justice, as the foundation under the other demands. But what does climate justice mean? And what does it mean to you? How do recognize climate injustice in the Global South, and in what ways in the Netherlands and Europe? In this workshop we will discuss this topic using information cards. Together we will try to find out about patterns of climate injustice, and understand where these come from.
