Do you want to contribute to the fight for the climate, but do more/something other than joining actions? Do you want to organize or help behind the scenes? Do you want to discover your potential path in Extinction Rebellion?
During the Introduction for new rebels, within one hour you will learn the most improtant things about getting active with organising or behind the scenes in Extinction Rebellion.
If you'd like to also eat dinner with us (there will be a vegan meal), make sure to sign up before 16:00 on the same day so we know how many people we're cooking for. The food is usually ready around 19:00 and if you'd like to help us cook you're welcome from 16:00 onwards.
For the introduction itself you do not need to sign up: only for the food. During the dinner, around 20:00, someone will ask for silence and then do an announcement that you can walk with them to the introduction.
This introduction will be in English. Due to stairs, this introduction sadly is not accessible to everyone. Our Heading for Extinction talks, Action Q&A's and many of our action trainings take place in de Sering, which does not have any stairs, however these talks and trainings are not the same as this introduction. If this introduction is not accessible for you and there are things we could do to create an accessible introduction for you, please send an e-mail to xr.amsterdam@protonmail.com and we will try to organise such an introduction.
