🧍🏿‍♀️We willen onze kinderen graag beschermen, nu en in de toekomst. Maar wat nu als je die toekomst somber inziet door de ontwrichtende klimaatverandering en ecologische crisis die we nu al voelen? Laat staan het effect daarvan op de maatschappij?

🤐Niet iedereen voelt in de eigen sociale omgeving de ruimte echt te praten over de emoties die ze voelen of de dilemma’s die ze ervaren.

🤷🏽‍♂️Over in gesprek willen gaan met je kind(eren) of ze voor willen bereiden op wat gaat komen, maar niet weten hoe
🙍🏼Over de balans tussen tijd met je familie en tijd voor actievoeren of piekergedachten versus genieten met je gezin
🦸🏾Over kinderen die zich zorgen maken of zelf ook actie willen voeren en hoe je daarmee omgaat

❤️Deze avond maken we samen ruimte voor de emoties die kunnen komen kijken bij ouderschap in deze bizarre tijden. Deel je eigen verhaal en luister met je oren en je hart naar de verhalen van anderen. Je bent niet alleen

🫶Parenting in times of a climate crisis🫶

🧍🏿‍♀️We want to protect our children from harm, now and in the future. But how do you deal with feeling that a liveable future might not be realistic, given the current climate and ecological crisis and the projections for the future? Including the potential for social collapse?

🤐Not everyone feels safe enough in their social environment to actually discuss these emotions or the parenting dilemmas connected to them, such as:

🤷🏽‍♂️Wanting to discuss the crises with your children or wanting to prepare them for what is yet to come, but simply not knowing how to do it
🙍🏼Balancing family time and being an activist or dealing with negative thoughts when you want to give your full attention to your family
🦸🏾Having children who are worried or want to take action themselves and how you deal with that

❤️This evening we'll make space for the difficult emotions surrounding parenting in this crazy world. Share your own stories and open your ears and heart to the stories of others. You are not alone.
